Introducing the Vantage Travel Trailer by Keystone

Vantage from Keystone combines timeless beauty with modern technology to create a new travel trailer unlike anything on the market today. By utilizing curved, laminated fiberglass sidewalls and an arched roof, Vantage delivers wide-body livability and comfort in a look that clearly stands apart. And the Vantage interior is also extraordinary--tastefully incorporating contemporary-glazed maple cabinets, two-tone fascia, and an open spacious that is uncommon and pleasing.

The travel trailer, also called a camping trailer or camper, ranges from 15 to 35 feet in length and is towed by means of a bumper or frame-mounted hitch attached to the rear of a towing vehicle.

In the United States and Canada, the history of travel trailers can be traced back to the early 1920s, when those who enjoyed their use were often referred to as Tin Can Tourists. As time progressed, travel trailers became more livable and earned a new name in the 1930s and 1940s which was the House Trailer. In the 1950s and 1960s, the industry seemed to split, creating the two types that we see today, that of the recreational vehicle (RV) industry and mobile home industry.

In Europe, the origins of the travel trailer goes back to traveling Gypsies and showmen who spent most of their lives in horse drawn travel trailers. The world's first travel trailer was built for Dr. W. Gordon-Stables by the Bristol Carriage. It was called the "Wanderer" and was an 18 ft. design based on wagons called "Bible Wagons".

Today Travel Trailers are filled with amenities to meet the needs and desires of any sized family. At Scott Motor Coach in Lakewood, NJ, we strive to match you with the travel trailer that also meets your budget.
